Leandra Varanda faz show em Londres dia 26

A cantora brasileira Leandra Varanda apresentará seu estilo musical eclético ao público londrino, no dia 26 de novembro.

Leandra Varanda, considerada pelos críticos britânicos como ‘talento vocal genuíno’, trará ao palco o tradicional samba, maracatu e baião mixados à boa Música Popular Brasileira.

A cantora brasileira, que vive em Londres, ganhou uma reputação impecável na Grã-Bretanha, conquistada por meio de várias gravações com o grupo de choro/samba Caratinga, e apresentações de seu trabalho em diversas casas noturnas londrinas, que incluem o Teatro Nacional, o Projeto Éden e o Centro Cultural Barbican.

O estilo de Varanda, comparado com os trabalhos de Marisa Monte e Zizi Possi, incorpora várias facetas contemporâneas que se mesclam perfeitamente com a tradicional MPB.

Varanda estará acompanhada pela renomada cantora venezuelana Luzmira Zerpa, Adriano Adewale (percussão), Andy Lafone (baixo elétrico) e Jonathan Preiss (violão).

Leandra Varanda will perform her charms in London

The London-based Brazilian singer, Leandra Varanda, will capture her audience in a unique performance, on the 26^th of November, in London.

Varanda, considered by the British music critics as ‘a genuine vocal talent’, will bring to the British night scene the traditional samba rhythm, maracatu, baiao, which will all blend in and mix with the Popular Brazilian Music style.

The Brazilian singer has built for herself an impeccable reputation in the U.K., having recorded with the choro/samba group Caratinga and performed in many different venues in London, which include the National Theatre, the Project Eden and the Barbican Centre.

Leandra Varanda has also taken part in many important music festivals such as the Welsh Proms and the Southbank Brazil Festival. Her eclectic style has been compared with a couple of the Popular Brazilian Music’s (MPB) most iconic singers; Marisa Monte and Zizi Possi and it incorporates many contemporary facets with the traditional MPB.

The Brazilian singer will be accompanied by the renowned Venezuelan singer, Luzmira Zerpa, Adriano Adewale (Percussion), Andy Lafone (Eletric Bass) and Jonathan Preiss (Guitar).
